Helen

The oldest of three sisters in the novels, but a popular name in the Arab world and could easily be a girl from there. They need to be listened to, understood, and respected. Freedom to believe and be as they like, not pressed with unwanted values. Their fight for freedom in the 6th and 7th century was so like the American fight for our ideals from the British.

Anne

Freedom of conscious is not always just about religion
Slavery exists in this book; showing forth just one example of the many crimes the world committed to the African people. It is a product of my own personal family history, and I know that we have been cursed much up until the modern era with the culture of that practice passed down. But there is a worry about scares in modern African countries to from greedy interference from others. Anne is my attempt of an olive branch. How do we listen to help them recover?

Leah

One of the worlds oldest religions. They gave us the concept of God.  This young imaginative child represents the mother of the Jewish nation that has had its fair share of challenges; and need for respect. A group that has always found peace  and support in America.
